The work under this contract is divided into a basic schedule and 5 optional schedules. Bidders must provide a quotation on the basic schedule and all optional schedules. The optional schedules may be awarded subject to the availability of government funding.
Basic Schedule and Optional Schedules A through E Description and Location
This work consists of providing a crew and necessary equipment to perform Section 303 Roadway Reconditioning: Maintaining native or aggregate surface roads in a condition to facilitate traffic and provide proper drainage. It includes maintaining the crown or slope of the traveled way, shoulders, drainage dips, ditches, berms, and turnouts and provides a level of smoothness appropriate for the traffic served. The work is to maintain approximately 248 miles of passenger car road and approximately 146 miles of high-clearance vehicle road, forest-wide on the Santa Fe National Forest.
Payment under the basic schedule and optional schedules A through E will be paid by the mile of work.
The location of the work under the basic schedule and optional schedules A through E is forest-wide on the Santa Fe National Forest. Since this is only the pre-solicitation notice the solicitation documents will be released on or before June 09, 2018.
