Synopsis: Added: May 09, 2018 9:34 am The Library of Congress (Library) requires contract support to obtain a twelve month comprehensive service agreement for the Thermo Nicolet is50 Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectrometer (serial # AUP1500097), Nexus Fourier Transform Raman Module (serial # AEU0600403) with Micro-Stage (serial # 3), and Nicolet 6700 Optical Mainframe (serial # AGB0600604) currently in the Preservation Research and Testing Division lab. These instruments were manufactured by Thermo Electron, North America, LLC and were acquired by the Library in 2015, 2006, and 2007 respectively. These instruments are used for research and routine testing of a broad range of Library collection materials, collection housings, and environments.
