Synopsis: Added: Feb 09, 2018 11:52 am This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subject 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. Offerors may send questions regarding this solicitation to [email protected] by February 16, 2018 at 1:00pm CST. This solicitation is issued as a Request-For-Quotation 60RRBH18Q0007. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2005-87-2. C.

This solicitation is seeking price quotations for the provision of conference rooms, audiovisual services, hotel room accommodations, optional session video recording, food and beverages and luncheon meals for attendees participating in the Chicago area National Rail Employers Training seminar (NRETS) in August 2018.

This solicitation is a local area set-aside. The RRB is seeking quotes from hotels that are located within the following areas in Chicago surrounding the RRB Headquarters:
North and South boundaries: Division St. to the North and 12th Street to the South
East and West boundaries: Lake Shore Dr. to the East and Wells St. to the West


The RRB will only accept and evaluate quotations from hotels within the above stated areas.


Quotations in response to this RFQ are due on February 23, 2018, by 1:00pm CST and should be submitted to [email protected]. Please see the attached RFQ documents for further information regarding this solicitation.
