The Government intends to purchase a Liconic STX44-DC2MIBT Incubator needed by the Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS). The Liconic STX44-DC2MIBT Incubator is required to maintain cold storage of pending and processed samples inside of the Vantage liquid handler. DLS needs the Liconic STX44- DC2MIBT Incubator to maintain sample integrity during high-throughput automated sample processing. The Liconic STX44- DC2MIBT Incubator will help DLS meet their requirements by allowing the liquid handler to control the storage incubator, remove samples from cold storage only when required for processing and return samples to cold storage once processing is complete.
Only Hamilton Robotics specially makes these Liconic STX44- DC2MIBT Incubators upon demand to exact specifications. The Liconic STX44-DC2MIBT Incubator is the only automated cold-storage device on the market for which an Instinct V compatible software driver exists. Liconic STX44-DC2MIBT Incubator will be integrated into a previously acquired robotic liquid handler, which is controlled by the Instinct V software platform that is currently utilized in the Division of Laboratory Sciences (DLS). This integration with the Instinct V software is vital to DLS"s automated sample process. This seamless communication is essential in meeting the needs of the DLS.

The Hamilton Robotics is the only source available to provide this service that meets mission critical requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal. A determination to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
