Dust Jacket: Covers 1, 4, and spine print type matter, and illustrations in 4-color process, with some type and illustrations reversing out to appear white on a full coverage background. Full uncommon bleeds on all sides. After printing laminate the entire surface of the face only of the dust jacket with a clear scuff-free gloss laminate, having a thickness of 1.5 mil. The printed matter must remain clear and legible. Contractor to adjust spine of Dust Jacket as needed.
Text: Print page folios 1 through 286 with type/rule matter, tints/solids, and illustrations in 4-color process and Pantone"s 185 Red and Warm Gray #2. Text includes 484 color images on 230 pages. Uncommon bleeds throughout. Spot varnish dry trap (after printing) the entire surface of each image with a clear non-yellowing gloss varnish to prevent scratching and smearing. Approx. 66 text pages scattered throughout cross over and must print to and align across page.
End Leaves: End leaves 2, 3, 6 and 7 print full coverage illustration in 4-color process and must print to and align across page.

Text pages have inadequate gripper, bleeds throughout. Reinforce the first and last signatures with strips of ungummed, sized cotton cloth extending 1/4" on the inner side of the signatures and 1" on the endleaves. Smyth (signature) sew, Trim 3 sides, square back with alternating red and gold headband and footband. Reinforce back with crash and strong paper liner. Case bind with suitable squares. Case covers not to exceed 11-1/4 x 11-1/4".
