Synopsis: PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT SYNOPSIZED (IAW FAR PART 5.203) FOR AN ANTICIPATED WASHERS AND DRYERS SERVICE CONTRACT SOLICITATION. THIS NOTICE WILL BE POSTED A MINIMUM OF 15 DAYS AT THE GOVERNMENT POINT OF ENTRY AND SUBJECT TO EXTENSION PRIOR TO THE RELEASE OF A FULL SOLICITATION.
This announcement is not a request for proposals, but instead a pre-solicitation notice to industry to serve as notification of a pending Solicitation release of the Washers and Dryers Service Contract Solicitation for Fort Riley, KS. Upon release of the Solicitation a proposal from industry will be requested from interested and qualified offerors. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this PRESOLICITATION announcement or any follow-up information requests to include the full Solicitation once issued. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than noted above.
Fort Riley, KS is seeking an SBA Total Small Business with the current relevant experience, personnel, and capability to perform an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract. Contractor shall providing all management, washers, dryers, labor, parts, supplies, tools, equipment, communications devices and transportation necessary to provide Washer and Washer and Dryer service on Fort Riley in Kansas.
The task orders to be awarded under this contract will be for the washers and dryers services at various locations on Fort Riley, KS within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532210 Consumer Electronics and Appliances Rental, with a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 million. The proposed contract will be for four year period performance contract.
Interested sources should be advised that while a full solicitation is expected to release within the next 15 days to industry the Government reserves the right to extend this posting. No visits with industry will be permitted with any Fort Riley personnel in response to this anticipated Solicitation. A scheduled industry site visit instructions to include the date and time of the site visit shall be provided in the solicitation.
Invitation for Bid (IFB) period ends 25 January 2018 at 2PM Central Standard Time. No bids will be accepted after that date and time. Late submissions will be in accordance with FAR 52.214-7
