H-60 Interference Blanker Units update data (№6016416)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0005 to General Electric Aviation Systems, (GEAS), for the necessary data associated with the modification of the Interference Blanker Unit (IBU) to support Foreign Military Sales and United States Navy H-60 Aircraft. Deliverables include a Class 1 ECP and related documentation and a part number update on the Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA) and Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA). GEAS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) sole source designer, developer, and manufacturer of the IBU. GEAS is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data, and data rights to successfully complete the requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any capability statements received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
