It is anticipated that one (1) firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. The period of performance for this contract is 17 Jan 2018 through 30 March 2018. Offerors that have this capability are invited to submit quotations in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation.

GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION: USCGC BRANT is restricted to 200 nautical miles one way transit in protected waters, including the Intracoastal Waterway and the Mississippi Sound. The vessel is located at its home pier in Gulfport, MS. The contractor shall provide a facility accessible from a navigable waterway at which a ship of the characteristics described in the attached specification can, using its own propulsion, safely arrive, lie afloat and depart at all states of the tide at any time day or night. The facility and its approaches shall have a minimum water depth of 10 feet and a minimum height clearance of 50 feet 2 inches.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The place of performance will be at the contractor"s proposed certified dry-dock facility capable of docking the vessel that is located within the Geographical Restricted area listed above.
Closing date and time for receipt of quotes is 04 January 2018 at 11:00AM Eastern Time.
