Synopsis: Added: Oct 04, 2016 10:14 am The Embassy of the United States in Brussels will issue a proposal for the maintenance, repair, installation or replacement of various alarm systems and components in U.S. Government owned or rented apartments, residences and office buildings.


This is a fixed price indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract for supplies or services specified and effective for the period stated in the Schedule.


The requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods. Anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government.


The contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel to accomplish all work required.


All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The Government plans to launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website during the month of October, 2016.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

Added: Jun 19, 2017 6:22 am The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for the maintenance, repair, installation or replacement of various alarm systems and components in U.S. Government owned or rented apartments, residences and office buildings.

Your proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal Enclosed - SBE20017R0002" to the U.S. Embassy, attn: Contracting Officer, Regentlaan 27, 1000 Brussels on or before 1600 Hrs. on July 31, 2017. No proposal will be accepted after this time. Any other documentation should be mailed in a separate envelope, clearly marked as SBE20017R0002.


The Work Statement and all other terms and conditions are contained in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The contract which will result from this RFP is estimated to run one base year, with four one-year options, pending availability of funds.


In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:


1. SF-1449 (page 1 of RFP) Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (blocks 12 thru 26, as appropriate, and blocks 30a, 30b and 30c.
2. Section 1, Pricing Schedule.
3. Section 5. Representations and Certifications,
4. Addendum to Offeror Representations and Certifications - FAR and DOSAR Provisions not prescribed in Part 12, Dosar provision 652.209-79 (b) page 67.
5. Additional information as required in Section 3.


The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

The Embassy intends to organize a pre-proposal site visit. All prospective offerors who have received an RFP will be invited to attend. See page 48 of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for more details.
