Synopsis: Added: Apr 11, 2017 10:30 am Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), intends to issue a sole source award to GSE Systems, Inc., 1332 Londontown Blvd., Suite 200, Sykesville, MD 21784 for the acquisition of maintenance, enhancement and support of proprietary GSE software used for NRC Generic Pressurized Water Reactor simulators. The anticipated period of performance is 24 months from date of award, with three one year option periods.


The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210 "Software Publishers" and a size standard of $38.5 million.


The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with GSE Systems, Inc. and no solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if the party can perform the requirement. Additionally, in order to perform work for the NRC, potential sources must be free of conflict of interest (COI). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to [email protected]. No faxed documents will be accepted. If no responsive statements are received by 04/26/2017 at 3:00 PM EST, an award will be made to GSE Systems, Inc.
