The United States Coast Guard awarded a sole source contract under the authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement to purchase various new spares. This sole source contract action is for the procurement of new spares to support the regeneration of the C-27J aircraft. Through the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014, the US Coast Guard acquired 14 C-27J aircraft from the US Air Force. The medium size military transport aircraft requires new spare parts in support of flight operations, missions, aircrew and maintenance training and testing and evaluation.
