SOLICITATION: This synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/supplies is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Market research from historical data and an SBA dynamic search indicates that there are not many companies that can provide this type of service locally. The synopsis/solicitation will be advertised for full and open competition to allow for a fair and competitive environment. Small Business participation is strongly encouraged. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is M67399-17-Q-0023. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code: 81118 size standard $7.5million. The government contemplates a single award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) service contract under Subpart 13.5-Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, with a period of performance of one (1) base year and four (4) 12 month option periods. This contract falls under Service Contract Labor Standards wage determination# WD 15-5629 (Rev.-3).
