Pre-solicitation Notice for RFP No. GPO42998KG The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has a requirement for digitization and/or metadata/information services that will support the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), the Access to Federal Electronic Information program, and other GPO programs administered through Library Services and Content Management (LSCM).
Services included to support the above programs are as following: a. Non-destructive scanning of bound material b. Scanning of unbound material c. Scanning of material in microforms formats d. Creation of metadata e. Processing of images to create derivative files with embedded OCR f. Delivery of the file via SFTP or on solid state drives g. Transportation of materials to and from GPO or other designated location
The contemplated request for proposal (RFP) will require a firm fixed price proposal to be evaluated for award. All proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation. Offerors may submit a proposal upon posting of the RFP. A tentative solicitation issuance date will be 02/17/17.
