Synopsis: Added: Jun 23, 2017 6:09 pm The Library of Congress Security Targets, which are used to protect many of the Library of Congress" collections, including both book and non-book formats from the unauthorized removal from Library facilities both on and off Capitol Hill.

This solicitation will result in a five year Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinte-Quantity type contract. Pre-award samples are required and see Section J. Added: Jun 28, 2017 2:34 pm In addition to the 2 types of Security Targets described in Solicitation LCLSC17Q0050, metal rods for insertion of targets inside books are required. In Section B, please also provide a cost estimate for supplying metal insertion rods, as follows:  14" long x 1/4" wide metal rods - thin, resistant and with rounded corners. Added: Jul 06, 2017 10:38 am Request for Clarification:
"Please comment on the historical and current volume that the Library of Congress purchases in regards to the security targets."

Response:
Historically the Library has purchased an average of 700000 targets per year, but this number is subject to change every year.
