This acquisition is a Woman Owned Small Business set aside. This Request For Proposal FA4610-17-R-0003 will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This acquisition is being synopsized under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The small business size standard is $15000000.00. The Contractor shall provide the government with the design, construction, and warranty for the installation of a fire suppression system at Bldg 13675 on Vandenberg AFB, California. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical support), items and incidentals necessary thereto. The work is required in support of the 30th Civil Engineering Squadron, Base Civil Engineering activities. The Government intends to award on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The solicitation and subsequent amendments will be available via FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. All potential offerors must be registered on the FedBizOpps.gov website in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The SAM site is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/#1. It is important to read the solicitation completely, as there are terms and conditions that must be met by the prospective offeror in order for the proposal to be considered responsive. Notice to potential offeror(s)/supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the government cancels this solicitation, the government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror of any cost. A site visit is scheduled for 9:00 AM Pacific Time on Monday, 13 February 2017 at Vandenberg AFB Visitor Center, corner of CA Hwy 1 and California Blvd, Vandenberg AFB, CA. The purpose of the site visit will be to answer questions regarding the solicitation and is not intended for contractors to present their capabilities. The RSVP must contain: The company name The names of attendees (Attendees will be limited to 5 individuals per company due to limited room capacity) **For individuals that do not have base access, the dates of birth and driver"s license numbers and states are also required in order to have a base access pass prepared. Upon receipt of the RSVP, a confirmation of receipt will be sent from one of the Government parties with further information regarding the site visit. If you do not you receive a confirmation by 3:00 PM Pacific Time on 9 February 2017, please contact the individuals at both the numbers and e-mails listed no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Time on 10 February 2017 to ensure your RSVP was received.
Attendance to the site visit is not mandatory for contractors interested in proposing on the RFP, however, it is highly recommended.
