DHA CO-FC requests that BAH, the incumbent of the current contract, HT001118C0011, is afforded the opportunity to continue to provide professional and operational support services to the Warrior Care Disability Evaluation System Program while the process of developing the follow-on requirements of a long-term contract continues. This bridge contract will prevent a break in these crucial essential services to this program. It will allow for the needed time to complete the requirements development and acquisition process necessary for a competitive follow-on award. It will consist of a 6-month base and inclusion of Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.217-8 "Option to Extend Services" for up to a 6-month period. It will not exceed 365 days.
BRIDGE REQUIREMENTS: Provide continuation of the level of support in the areas of professional, administrative and program and general management consulting support for the Disability Evaluation System, Special Compensation for Assistance with Activities of Daily Living, Communication and Outreach, and the United States/United Kingdom Task Force. This support will assist in providing strategic planning and policy development, operational oversight of programs, evaluation and documentation of program performance, perform data analysis and analytical reporting and/or studies in support of recurrent or new requirements, quality assurance of Warrior Care Programs and processes to include development of quality assurance policies and procedures.
INTERESTED PARTIES: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration of the long-term contract that will be a follow-on contract to the contract noted above. This notice is not a commitment from the Government. The Government will not reimburse any bid or proposal costs as a result of this notice. Any future solicitation that will be open to competition will subsequently be issued on FedBizOpps in order to permit responses.
