Synopsis: Added: Mar 28, 2018 12:35 am The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to release a solicitation to provide technical assistance that supports the Government of India (GoI) and other stakeholders to manage India"s forests as important components of broad-based, inclusive and sustainable economic growth that meet local needs and addresses global environmental challenges.

The objectives of Forest PLUS 2.0 activity are:
1. To strengthen ecosystem-based management of forest landscapes
2. To factor ecosystem services into management of forest landscapes
3. To increase economic opportunities from improved landscape management


USAID intends to issue a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) type contract with a period of performance of 60 months (a thirty six months of base period with a twenty four months option period) using full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition expected to be 541990 with an authorized geographic code of 937.
