Synopsis: Added: Sep 13, 2017 10:42 am NASA/GSFC plans to award a follow-on contract, the Goddard Information Collaboration Center (GIC2), Information Science and Library Services (ISLS), to provide support for the NASA GSFC, Greenbelt MD and Wallops Flight, Wallops Island, Virginia. The principal purpose of the GIC2 ISLS contract is to provide data collection building, research support services, digital library services, customer training, library information systems and support, digital preservation services and knowledge management. The place of performance for the GIC2 ISLS is NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD.

It is anticipated that the subject contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) for core services with Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) component issuing FFP Task Orders for technical subscriptions with a five year period of performance. The period of performance will be a 12 month base period with two-2 year option periods.

The Government anticipates a release of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) on or about October 20, 2017. This will be an opportunity for potential offerors to provide questions, comments or any concerns regarding the DRFP and attachments which included the Statement of Work (SOW). No proposal/offeror is to be submitted during this posting.

The Government anticipates a release date for the Request for Proposal (FRP) on or about January 8, 2018, with an anticipated offer due date on or about February 9, 2018.

The Government anticipated award of a resultant contract on or about July 6, 2018.

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

This procurement is a total Small Business Set-Aside.

The NAICS code and Size Standard are 519120 and $15M, respectively.

All responsible sources may submit an offer when applicable, which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at
