The Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC) is soliciting bids to rehabilitate concrete surfaces for the culvert valve recesses (recesses) at Eisenhower Lock. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to rehabilitate portions of damaged concrete in the two upstream and two downstream recesses utilizing dry mix shotcrete application methods. The recesses are approximately 15" wide x 22" long. The upstream recesses extend a depth of approximately 72" from the top of the lock wall to the bottom of the recesses, and the downstream recesses extend a depth of approximately 86". This work includes furnishing lights, heat, water and all other utilities during construction. This work will also require working at various heights within the recesses to access the concrete rehabilitation work areas. Work will be completed between January 14, 2019 and March 8, 2019. The final quantity of rehabilitation work for payment purposes will be determined upon completion. The IFB package will be released for bids on or about August 24, 2018 with bids due on or about September 24, 2018. The project cost range is estimated to be between $250000 and $500000. Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to attend a site visit scheduled on or about September 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM EDST. This is a total small business set-aside.
