Limited Competition Notice - BOAT MOTORS, REPAIR & INSTALLATION SERVICE Solicitation Number: M67004-18-Q-1012 Synopsis: NOTICE OF LIMITED COMPETITION (LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE). The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement for the purchase, installation, and repair of Yamaha outboard boat motors and spare parts with a Yamaha outboard master technician on site under solicitation M67004-18-Q-1012. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) competition will be restricted to small businesses located within a 50 mile radius of Blount Island Command as circumstances of this contractual action, i.e. accessibility and ability to respond quickly, deem only those small businesses within a 50-mile radius as reasonably available. The period of performance for the blanket purchase agreement is five (5) years. While this notice of intent is for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability, respond to this requirement, and submit information which shall be considered by the Contract Support Management Office, Blount Island Command, and Jacksonville, Florida. The Government retains the right not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice. Telephonic inquiries or responses are not accepted. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in preparation of information or documents. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of follow-on acquisitions. The estimated value of this procurement is less than the simplified acquisition threshold.
