Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Ankara, TURKEY will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available.

U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey will issue a solicitation for packing and shipping services. This service will serve the U.S. Embassy in Ankara and the Adana Consulate. Service descriptions and estimated quantities will be provided within the RFP and will include in-country and overseas shipments. The approximate annual tonnage is 125000 lbs. for inbound and 100000 lbs. for outbound shipments. The requirements may change depending on funding availability in forthcoming periods. Multiple awards can be made and the anticipated performance is for one base period and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in December, 2018.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
