Intergrated Library System-Draft Solicitation (№10116906)

DODEA requires a proven ILS (Integrated Library System) to serve the needs of students attending our schools. Although DODEA has 165 brick-and-mortar schools and one virtual school, some schools serve both elementary and secondary students. Thus, for the purposes of the ILS, there are 173 sites with a potential increase or decrease of 1-3 sites per year. The ILS shall include project management, data conversion, professional learning, technical support, equipment, maintenance and help desk support. Once implemented, the ILS will effectively support the mission of DoDEA"s Information Centers, which is to (1) provide access to print and non-print resources materials aligned to DODEA standards and (2) facilitate library services and literacy programing that foster a love of reading and support educators in designing learning strategies and delivering instruction that meets the needs of the military child.
