This is a solicitation for the Repair Roof, Building 3401 project at Fort Wainwright, Alaska.



This project is to repair the roof on building 3401 by replacement. The work includes, but are not limited to, demolition of existing roofing system; installation of EPDM roofing system; parapet work; insulation work; drainage installation; and trim installation. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.



A site visit will be conducted on 6 August 2018 at 9:00 AM Alaska Time at BLDG 3015, Department of Public Works (DPW), Polaris Conference Room (2nd Floor), Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 in order identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions.


Any questions must be submitted by e-mail to the point of contacts (POCs) identified below no later than 9 August 2018 by 10:00 AM Alaska Time. All questions will be responded to through FedBizOpps.gov (FBO) only.



The period of performance for this project is 365 calendar days after receiving a notice to proceed (NTP). NTP will be issued 10 days after the date the contract is awarded.


The disclosure of magnitude is between $500000 and $1000000 IAW FAR 36.204(e).


This acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160, with a size standard of $15.0M.


The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this project.



This solicitation is issued electronically. It is only available via the official Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov).
